Every senior living in California needs to know that the far-left radicals Democrats who run California politics are pushing their version of Medicare 4 All. They call it CalCare and it is a MAJOR threat to EVERY SENIORS’ current Medicare HEALTH CARE.
CalCare provides free medical care to illegal immigrants
Xavier Beccera was one of the co-sponsors for the Federal version of Medicare 4 All. These people are do gooders who don’t care who gets hurt in the process of providing free medical care to illegals in California. Many unions and non-profits support CalCare. Beccera’s official position is that he is not in favor of CalCare. If elected in November, I predict that Beccera will change his mind and willingly support CalCare.
The radicals hate the health care insurance industry. It is capitalism and they hate everything about that. They want to do away with the insurance industry all together. Forget how many jobs will be lost. THESE PEOPLE ONLY SEE WHAT THEY WANT TO SEE.
Several years ago, the legislature in Sacramento passed and Governor Newsom signed a bill known as SB 770. The law seeks to get the Federal government to pay the State of California for services provided by doctors in California, California would then in turn pay the doctors. So far, the Federal government agency in charge of the Medicare program has not agreed to do it.
Dems want to bring a single payer health care system to California
In the 2026 legislative session a bill was introduced as AB 1900. The sponsor is Assemblyman Ash Kaira. He is from San Jose, California and has been actively working to bring a single payer health care delivery system to California for a long time. The bill did not pass but it will come up again and again until they get what they want.
Kaira was supported by the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) branch in his local area. He is chair of the progressive caucus in Sacramento. He is clearly a radical far-left lunatic who will destroy our Medicare to deliver a pipe dream.
Canada has a single payer health care system which does not work very well. There are long waiting lines to see specialists. The sad fact is that you might die before you see the cancer specialist. That is not a system we should be trying to duplicate. What seniors have now works pretty well for most of us.
Politicians will be in charge of funding CalCare
It is critical for all seniors to understand that politicians will be in charge of funding CalCare. Sadly, that means that they will help their friends before they fund CalCare almost every time. That is why Canada’s system has such long delays. Money is not spent on the needy but on the friends of the politicians!!!!!!
