Several years ago, I warned about the possibility of inflation hurting seniors. Well, here we are. The Congress and Mr. Biden have spent like drunken sailors and that has put too much money into our economic system. When that happens we see prices going up for most consumer products.
The biggest factor for most seniors is the cost of gas for their cars and some form of heating product to heat their homes. The Biden administration has declared WAR on our energy industry. Many radicals think the world is going to come to an end within the next ten (10) years unless we destroy our oil
companies.
The truth is we are going to transition to wind and solar over the next 20-30 years. However, it is not practical to do it over night. There must be a coordinated effort by the Biden administration to work closely with the energy industry to have a smooth transition. Sadly, that has not been the case and
now the Saudi’s are selling oil to China and taking Yuan as the currency instead of the U.S. Dollar. BTW, the Saudi’s recently announced that they are going to be cutting production.
Mr. Newsom, and his radical allies in Sacramento, are pushing us to stop drilling oil in California. We are forced to import oil from countries that hate us and want to see us destroyed. Seniors need to reach out to their assembly person and their state senator to demand that the governor of California find ways to work with the oil companies and let them drill now so we can lower the price of gas at the pump.
Seniors are victims of bad public policy that is being driven by folks who believe Climate Change is a religion. The truth is that the weather is constantly changing. We get storms and then we get no storms for long periods of time. The background for Global Warming (now changed to Climate Change) is some of the leaders at the UN want to use this crisis as a way to transfer wealth from the wealthier countries down to the poorer ones.
The computer models used by the UN are often bogus. The UN reports are written by politicians and not scientists. That is true and anyone can verify that fact.
Anyone who is actually interested in learning more about the truth of Climate Change can take the time to read one or more of the following. If you can only read one then I would read Apocalypse Never by Michael Shellenberger. He is a life-long environmentalist.
